Conditions

With years of education and experience, our chiropractors can diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and other health concerns.

Treatments are tailored to you to help relieve your specific symptoms. Our practitioners also provide lifestyle modification advice, including postural advice and exercise to help prevent recurrence.

Conditions We Treat

Back pain

Chiropractic care can help with chronic or acute back pain, related to lifestyle such as poor sitting, standing, or lifting posture, or caused by muscle strain, ligament sprain, joint dysfunction or herniated discs.

Neck pain

Caused by strain or sprain of the muscles, ligaments and joints or due to lifestyle factors such as poor posture, forward head carriage or acute torticollis from poor sleeping posture, neck pain can be relieved through proper chiropractic care.

Disc injuries

Usually caused by work or sports injuries, aged-related wear and tear, or degenerative disc disease, disc injuries can be managed with help from your chiropractor. This can cause pain, numbness, and weakness in the back, neck, referring down into arms, or legs.

Sciatica

Chiropractic care can assist with compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve causing pain, numbness, or tingling in the legs and feet. This is commonly caused by piriformis syndrome, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, pregnancy, trauma and obesity.

Headache

Chiropractic care can help with various types of headaches, including tension, migraine, and cervicogenic. These headaches can be caused by tension and stress, muscle strain or joint dysfunction in the neck, sinus issues, or TMJ or jaw pain.

Whiplash

After a car accident or sports injury, whiplash can cause damage to the muscles, ligaments, and joints of the neck. Your chiropractor can help you to relieve pain and manage lingering effects.

Vertigo/dizziness

Symptoms arising from Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), cervicogenic vertigo, Meniere’s disease, and vestibular migraines can be alleviated by chiropractic care by reducing tension in the neck, improving blood flow to the inner ear, improving balance and improving nervous system function.

Overuse injuries

Usually caused by lifestyle activities, these injuries include repetitive strain injury (RSI), De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow. Manage your overuse injury and plan for your future health with help from your chiropractor.

Sports-related injuries

Chiropractic care can help with various musculoskeletal sports-related injuries, including ankle sprain, shin splints, runner’s knee, shoulder impingement and rotator cuff tears, by reducing pain and inflammation. Your practitioner can also tailor a rehabilitation program to help with return to activity.

Arthritis

Chiropractic care can help reduce inflammation and pain in the joints from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid, psoriatic arthritis. This helps you to manage symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, and swelling that affect mobility and quality of life.

Pregnancy care

During pregnancy, chiropractic care addresses misalignment in the spine and pelvis which could lead to pain or discomfort in the ribs, back, hips and legs. Post-partum treatment covers postural concerns, diastasis recti and pubic symphysis dysfunction.

Pediatrics

Children can also benefit from chiropractic care. Primitive reflex checks for newborns and growing kids, and assessment for hip dysplasia, plagiocephaly and scoliosis can set them on the right path for life.

Posture

Want to improve on posture and not sure where to begin? A visit to a chiropractor can equip you with tips and techniques to improve your posture at home, as well as physical adjustments to help you along the way.
